2020 ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
Our Annual General Meeting will be held via Zoom Meetings at 7.45pm on Wednesday 11th November. The speaker this year will be our archivist who will present for you a number of items from the Society’s extensive collection. As many of you know, the Kew Historical Society has been designated a ‘Place of Deposit’ and its collection is recognised as ‘significant’. We extend a warm invitation to you to attend this meeting.
Here is a Nomination form for Management Committee positions. Owing to the current restrictions on meeting with others, we have established that it is possible to nominate yourself. If you intend to nominate for election, please complete the form and sign as nominator and also that you accept the nomination. Return the form to firstname.lastname@example.org by email or by post to KHS, P.O. Box 175, Kew, Vic. 3101 and I will second your nomination. If you cannot attend the meeting, please complete this Proxy form and return that to me in the same way. Forms must be received by Wednesday 4th November to be accepted.
Please remember that to vote, nominate for a position, appoint a proxy, act as a proxy and to stand for election it is necessary to have renewed your membership of the Society by 4th November 2020. Please let me know if you will be at the meeting.
