The Kew Court House: Community Cultural Centre is home to the Kew Historical Society’s ‘History Centre’. The Centre features displays and exhibitions of items related to the history of the area. The Centre provides an opportunity for residents, and others interested in the history of Kew and it environs, to ask questions and discuss items that they have which relate to the history of Kew and Kew East. Members and visitors are also able to view and use the resources housed at and exhibited at the Centre.
The opening hours are normally Friday and Saturday 11:00am–1:00pm.
The address of the Court House is 188 High Street, Kew. The History Centre is on Level 1. (A lift is available if required). The centre is located just 100m east of the junction of High Street and Cotham Road. Trams pass the door (Routes 48 and 109, Stop 34) and parking is available in local carparks.
The Kew Historical Society acknowledges the generous support of the City of Boroondara in providing storage, office accommodation and exhibition space at the Kew Court House and at the Kew Library.
