VISIT US AT THE NEW KEW HERITAGE CENTRE
The former Police Station at the Kew Court House (188 Hight Street, Kew, 3101) will be used from 2026 to exhibit items related to the history of Kew and to house our nationally significant collection. It provides an opportunity for residents, and others interested in the history of Kew and it environs, to ask questions and discuss items relating to the history of Kew and Kew East.
In early 2026, at a date to be advised, KHS will move to the former Police Station, pictured here, after spending 38 years at the Kew Library, which is being refurbished in 2026. The Police Station will become our permanent home. The Just Theatre will be used for all of our monthly meetings as well as our two annual lectures. Opening times are dependent on the date of the move and the rehousing of our collection. If you have any queries, please contact our Secretary by email: info@kewhistoricalsociety.org.au.
The Kew Historical Society acknowledges the generous support of the City of Boroondara in providing storage, office accommodation and exhibition space at the Kew Court House.
