The Kew Historical Society has access to an expert and knowledgeable range of researchers who, for a standardised fee can discover and describe information about Kew’s history, whether it be the history of individuals, families, houses or businesses.
The hourly fee set by the Management Committee for this kind of research is usually $25 per hour with a minimum payment of $100. Part of the service is the production of professional written, authoritative and well-designed reports. The research assistants in the Society will be able to provide you with an estimate of the costs of research based on the nature of your query and the complexity of the research required.
Alternately, you may wish to undertake the research yourself using our Self Help fact sheet.
